Stable, Strong and Balanced Course
This course with Liz Ross starts on Wednesday Feb 3rd at 11:30-12:45pm and runs every Wednesday for the 5 weeks.
How often do you pause and assess how your body is doing when it comes to balance? Balance cannot be taken for granted; it must be maintained — both in mind and body. Good balance requires adequate mental and physical fitness. Better body balance makes it easier to move and helps prevent injury. But it is a “use it or lose it” kind of thing, which means it’s important to practice balance at all ages.
In this five week course participants will be taken through a structured program of targeted movements to build strength and coordination so that balance can be both maintained and improved. No fancy yoga balances!
This will be a supportive environment and suitable for all beginners, over 60’s and anyone interested in improving their balance in both mind and body. Chairs will be made available. No experience is required.
