Summer Yin Immersion – ‘Creating Harmony’ Saturday 27th February 4:15-6:15pm with Liz
Overview
Experience inner peace and harmony through a soothing and contemplative Yin Yoga practice
Our summer yin practice will be slow, mindful and cooling as we focus on releasing heat from our bodies including chest and shoulders. We balance the outward focus of summer by nourishing and recharging our bodies.
Join Liz in this yin immersion which will help create more enthusiasm, groundedness, joy and restfulness.
This two hour practice will provide a supportive and nurturing environment for you to connect with yourself and expand your body through a gentle yin yoga practice.
No experience is needed.
What to bring:
- Yoga Mat plus a towel
- Water bottle
About the teacher
My yoga journey started with the Satyananda tradition and meditation. Then, for over 10 years I practiced Ryoho (Japanese) yoga, which eventually led me on to Hatha. Seeking a deeper spiritual connection, I align myself and my teaching to the practice of the eight paths of yoga and the Krishnamacharya teachings.
Now having been exploring my yoga practice now for over 20 years, I offer clients a wholistic yoga experience which can be strong and dynamic or deeply relaxing and nurturing with mindfulness as a foundation
.
My formal qualifications include a Diploma in Classical Hatha (420+ hours) and Yin training (100 hours) along with a Diploma in Energetic Healing and a Meditation Facilitator’s certificate (Naturecare College).
