We are excited to be introducing a monthly immersion combining Yoga Nidra and Singing Bowl Meditation followed by Ayurvedic tea and treats.
This special monthly event connects the ultimate modalities for restful awareness amid illuminated Himalayan salt lamps and candle lit Crystal bowls. You can rest into the gentle angelic sounds that restore the vibratory frequencies of the mind and body.
Guided into the psychic sleep of Yoga Nidra, deep consciousness is activated with an invitation for self-enquiry.
This evidence based practice alters brain waves to alpha/theta meditative states that include, (but are not limited to), multiple health benefits; increased immunity, reduced anxiety and depression, improved pain tolerance, increased creativity, emotional regulation and intelligence.
These modalities have been used together in many other countries with great results for a number of years. We have tested this through Tibetan singing bowls and Yoga Nidra at DYSOY to great feedback and are now presenting this experience with more bowls, specialist bowls, therapeutic lighting and deeper relaxation that is choreographed and prepared as a special event once a month.
You will finish the evening with Ayurvedic teas, snacks and conversation.
About the Teachers
Has been teaching Yoga Nidra and Hatha Yoga for decades. She is guided by her desire to feel satisfied, to be well and to have healthy relationships. She visualises a future of reliable health, good will and natural confidence and believes that if we wake up to our spiritual identity and bring this Spirit to inform more of our experience, we will live with more harmony. Yoga Nidra has saved her life and restores and improves her daily.
Has trained in community development & services and is a regular participant at global meditation retreats and has completed many trainings including Meditation Teacher, Singing Bowl Practitioner, Ayurvedic Healing and Reiki Practitioner (1&2).
