I’m not very flexible – does that matter?
Of course not – in fact you’ve come to the perfect place. Saying you’re not flexible enough to do yoga is like saying you’re too dirty to have a shower!! We are all here to seek personal improvement and there are no prerequisites. Enjoy your own journey.

What should I wear?
Any kind of exercise clothing that is breathable and easy to move in. Light, tight fitting clothing is ideal. We ask you to consider others in the studio and dress modestly (no teeny-tiny booty shorts please!). We recommend bringing a small hand towel to wipe any sweat during class. We do not allow shoes in the studio, please take them off before you enter and store them in the spaces provided.

What should I bring?
A water bottle, yoga mat, any props and blocks you like and an open heart and a smile!

Do I need to bring my own mat?
Yes, thanks - we have some mats and props for sale on our online store if you dont already have one.

Is the studio heated? Will this be “Hot Yoga”
No. During your practice your body temperature will raise a little as you flow through the more dynamic movements. We believe that practicing in an artificially heated room is un-necessary as your body creates its own heat, we also have air conditioning for when things do naturally heat up (we are not a Bikram School).

Can I eat before attending a yoga class?
It is best not to practice yoga with a full stomach. We recommend leaving at least 2 hours between eating a meal and doing yoga.

What kinds of yoga do we offer?
  • Hatha: A series of postures to promote mobility peacefully and mindfully transform your body and mind.
  • Awareness Meditation: training to recognize thoughts, sensations and emotions and letting them pass by like clouds.
  • Nidra Meditation: Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation and guided meditation that you practice comfortably lying down.
  • Yin: A series of slow postures designed to gradually release muscular tension and promote mobility using little muscular effort.
  • Vinyasa / Slow Flow: Flowing yoga that links the breath and postures together generating body heat, purification and strength.
  • Restorative: A gentle practice that creates subtle opening of joint structures using props to support the body.
  • We also offer a broad range of short courses and events so please check our calendar from time to time

As a beginner what classes can I attend?
Our teachers really pride themselves on meeting you where your body and mind is at and are focused on helping you to become more aware and in tune with yourself so that you can enjoy and experience any of our classes along with everyday life with total confidence. All our "Open" classes cater for beginners that are new to yoga. Our style of yoga offers modifications on all the yoga postures, therefore you are in safe and caring hands if you are new to yoga. Yin classes are also great for beginners.
In addition to Hatha classes our Yin, Restorative and Open Level classes are all perfect for those new to yoga.

I am pregnant. Can I come to any of your classes?
We recommend that posture yoga is completely avoided during the first trimester, as too much stretching and movement of the uterus can be dangerous to the fetus. We could recommend either yoga Nidra or potentially restorative ( but feel it out for yourself and let our teachers know so they can be focused on accomodating your needs). After your first trimester you are welcome to attend our Open Hatha and Yin classes with the all-clear from your doctor.

Do I need to book online before I come to the studio?
No just rock up!! There’s no need to book online before attending class. For those of you who love to be super organised here is a link to make a booking, but for those who prefer a little less structure is great if you don’t book! There will always be a spot for you so feel free to come on in anytime. We’re looking forward to meeting you.

What time should I arrive for class?
Please aim to arrive 15 minutes early for every class. There’s nothing worse that running late to a yoga class and arriving feeling stressed out before you begin! For your first class please aim to arrive 20 minutes early to fill out our new client form and speak to the instructor about any special requirements.

Can I get to the studio using public transport?
We are conveniently located inside the Stones Arcade on Pittwater road. You can easily take a bus and get off a few doors down. Once you get to Stones Arcade just head up the stairs and we are right in front.

Is there parking available?
Yep. Fisher road directly behind the studio often has easy 2hr parks or otherwise you can park at the library just around the corner for 3hrs which leaves plenty of time for a coffee before or after class. Both of these options are free along with the cheeky option of parking at the shopping centre just up the street undercover which has free parking for 2hrs.

How do I pay for classes?
We like to keep things really simple and down to earth. You can absolutely pay per class, or prepay classes with a class pass or we have a range of membership options as well as the option to book and pay online. We are not here to sting you with sneaky ongoing auto payments, we are here to make life simpler and easier.

INTRODUCTORY OFFER  - 5 classes for $25
We are passionate about introducing yoga to the health and wellbeing of new people so we have a new student offer. Come along to any of our classes to redeem. This offer is available to new students only
