Self-Massage Workshop: Spacious Shoulder and Happy Hip
Join Nikki for an afternoon of self-massage and yin using trigger point massage balls. Roll and release is a form of yoga that uses balls and props to ease and eliminate pain, increases flexibility and calm the central nervous system by working with meridians and fascia. Nikki will guide you through a roll and release sequence, incorporating some yin postures to focused on releasing tight hips and shoulders – those places that get especially creaky after winter. You will get your very own massage ball to take home and use after class. Expect to feel relaxed, released and functioning a little more spaciously.
What you’ll learn
Release knots and trigger points to instantly relieve tension
Use long hold stretches (yin yoga) to further release the myofascial
Learn a complete, whole body massage from head to toe that you can use to “tune up” and maintain your body.

Hi my name is Ann and I have been a student at Dee Why School of Yoga for many years. I am currently offering Reiki to whoever is open to receiving with all proceeds donated to 'Make-a-Wish' foundation, Australia. Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation it is a form of energy which enables the receiver to experience whatever they are willing to receive.
